Cargill has been present in Argentina uninterruptedly since 1947, and over the last 70 years Cargill Argentina has positioned itself as one of Argentina's largest exporting company and one of the leaders in food, products and services for the agro-industrial sector. We employ more than 3000 employees across 60 locations in 8 provinces of our country through industrial establishments, port terminals, stores and commercial offices.
Our activities in Argentina include the origination, processing and commercialization of cereals and oilseeds; the production and commercialization of soybean and sunflower protein meals, vegetable oils, beer malt and biodiesel. Cargill is also dedicated to the formulation and commercialization of foods and nutrients for animal nutrition as well as the import and distribution of ingredients for the food industry. In addition, Cargill participates as a minority share in Glucovil SA dedicated to wet maize milling.
